    When well swung this club…..

Posted by Scott on Jul 16th 2018

When well swung this club performs quite well, nearly as well as the high end driver(s) it was built to mimmick. I have the original Burner, my Father uses a Superfast Burner 2.0 which is almost identical in design to the PGX TS Driver. I am not totally sold on the recessed technology here [-.5 stars], but I also dont think it should really hinder performance after making some minor adjustments to how it is being swung. The standard grip is satisfactory, the shaft seems to be up to snuff, and the loft and yardage attained with a decent swing are quite impressive for a ~$60 club (I was getting 225+ with a pretty easy swing). I took off an additional .5 because the feel and sound leave just a little to be desired. Overall I am pretty impressed, and admittedly happy to have made some doubters eat their words after I showed up with this and one of the PGX Fairway Woods and proceeded to shoot about 10 strokes less than usual with ease. I can't say they made me "better" in and of themselves, but they didn't hold me back and didn't come close to breaking the bank either. Well done, once again, Pinemeadow. Next I'm looking at getting a PGX TS Hybrid and perhaps trying a Site4 putter, so I'm sure you'll be hearing from me again!

What can I say I started by using your offset driver and immediately noticed my slice was corrected and almost eliminated. To this day even if I have a bad tee my slice is cut to a minimum with a still very playable lie. I bought the 3 wood 5 wood and hybrid. This weekend I will be replacing my set with a PGX set. It made that much of a difference in my game and made Golf fun again. Thank you guys I have referred several people who absolutely love them with the same results. Very good work guys keep it up. I will keep referring.

I am impressed with the PGX offset driver. I usually play a Callaway XR driver, which is a fine club. However, now that I'm in my 70s I find that my timing and rotation is not what it used to be, and half of my drives were slicing a bit and ending up either on the right side of the fairway or in the rough. So when my son gave me a PGX offset driver as a gift I gave it a try. I practiced hitting it on the range and it did indeed help straighten out my drives. When I started using it in real play I was even more impressed. Not only are most of my drives "down the middle" - but they are as long as my Callaway XR. I've played 7 rounds with the PGX and now I always feel confident at the tee.

Got my PGX offset about a month ago and have played six rounds with it, have to say I do hit it straighter then any other driver I have ever used but I have lost about 25-30 yards in distance. Over all a great experience with Pinemeadow golf while ordering this club. Like the look feel and craftsmanship just wish it had the distance.

Got it in the afternoon. Practice in the morning. Played 18 in the afternoon. For the first time in my life I hit every fairway. I just can't believe it. It made me so comfortable that I started increasing my back-swing. I am a 30 Hc and my average drive is 180. I hit one 261 right down the middle. This club was unreal. It was like playing a different game. I shot a 98.
